How InsureLearnerDriver does learner insurance differently

How InsureLearnerDriver does learner insurance differently

We’re very proud of the product that we provide here at InsureLearnerDriver, and we’re working hard on getting the word out of how we can help learner drivers when it comes to buying insurance.

We’ll be telling you exactly how we do learner insurance differently, and how it could help you if you have an upcoming driving test.

Policies are in the learner’s own name

One of the main perks of buying an InsureLearnerDriver policy, is that all of our policies are in the learner’s own name. And why wouldn’t it be?

This also means parents can relax if you’re borrowing their car for private practice – because any claim or accident that might happen whilst you’re driving, will not affect their main insurance or their no claims bonus.

InsureLearnerDriver policies can be bought online

Phone calls are old news. With our policies, you can get a quote in seconds and cover in minutes via our website so you can get a move on with your private practice.

Not ready to buy? No problem. All you need for a price estimate is a registration (or car make and model), your birthday and postcode.

Available to learners who are using a borrowed car or their own car

We understand that not all learners will be using borrowed cars to practice their driving in. Some learners will have their own. It can sometimes be difficult to find an insurer who will cover a learner in their own car, but we do!

Short-term and annual policies are available with InsureLearnerDriver

If you’re a learner driver, we know that sometimes your schedule can be a bit all over the place. It can be difficult to balance driving lessons with work or studying. So, we try to make our policy length options as flexible as possible to suit you.

For those who want to borrow a car, policies are available from 1-140 days. For those who own their car, we offer policies from 1-5 months and annual policies.

You can chat to us online

As we previously mentioned, we think that phone calls are a little bit old fashioned.

We have a live chat feature on our website where you can speak directly to a member of the team between the hours of 9am -5pm on weekdays. Or, if you’re even more tech savvy – you can get in touch with us via Facebook,  Twitter, or  Instagram. We’re happy to chat about any queries you might have about our insurance products or learning to drive in general!

Specialised learner insurance isn’t something everyone knows about yet! Most people still think that the easiest option is to add a learner driver onto an existing annual policy, which isn’t necessarily the easiest or most cost-effective option.
